DVD Xpress DX2 has focused its utility software on transferring visual and audio media from VHS tapes and camcorders (digital as well as analog) onto DVD or CD. The software makes real-time hardware conversion possible and so opens a whole range of possibilities since it allows users to make their own movies that can be played on Sony PSP, Apple iPod and Zen Version.

The features of DVD Xpress DX2 are numerous. Music or video can be captured to you PC or to disc via a USB port. Or alternatively, it can be captured straight to the Sony PSP or iPod formats. It also contains Audio-lock technology that makes for almost perfect synchronization. It does too for audio and visual effects editing. This feature allows for contrast, brightness, hues and saturation to be modified if it is required.

DVD Xpress comes with a hardware-encoding chip that optimizes the video quality without taxing PC resources. With its CapWiz feature, videos can be captured and stored directly in the format that you specify. When it comes to hardware features, it’s good to keep in mind that the utility is compatible with all types of CD and DVD writers.

Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP

This did not work on my Win7 Home Edition. But worked just fine when I was using WinXP.

I also want to use my DVD Xpress DX2 with Windows 8 (or Windows 7). Can I? Are there updated drivers?
